Personal safety message from Jacques:
I will continue to work hard to help women understand that they must take a stand and employ preventive steps to minimize their chances from becoming victims of assault, theft, and other crimes. It’s your personal decision to continue to train and receive education in safety. This will allow you to maximize your skills and allow your defensive techniques to become second nature; ultimately providing success in dominating the situation. More than 1, 000 women have been empowered and are making a difference in the world with the 3-D Personal Protection for Women system. Where do you stand? Train hard and continue to:

  • General Instructor Certification
  • Subject Control/Arrest Techniques

Motivation:
Johnny wanted to be a part of the 3-D Team because he wanted to make a difference. If one person can benefit from the training that 3-D provides then he feels that he has accomplished that goal. This program is geared toward being mentally prepared and his belief is that these skills are offered in this program. Motivating people to become more competent, prepared, and aware of their surroundings brings a smile to his face and at the end of the day he feels that he has assisted in preparing others to face challenges head on.

  Jennifer Dexter

Jennifer Dexter and her husband moved to North Carolina from California in 2001 and they now live in Apex. She is a former elementary school teacher, but now has the privilege of being a stay at home mom to her 3 boys. She became involved with 3-D because she did not want to be vulnerable and unprepared while out by herself running the greenways and streets of Apex, or even just in a parking lots putting her groceries in her car. 3-D has given her more confidence in herself and has shown her the importance of being aware of her surroundings. 3-D has changed her way of thinking! After almost 2 years, she became a 3-D instructor in hopes to teach other women how to defend themselves, gain self confidence, and prevent them from becoming a victim.

  Melissa Chapman

Melissa, a wife and mother of 1, joined 3-D in 2008 and quickly worked her way through the advancement levels. She proved that her passion for protection was a key ingredient for success, and was given the honor of becoming a trainer with 3-D. Her goal is to share that passion with the participants of 3-D. Along with her desire to inform others on the skills needed to protect themselves, she also volunteers many hours to some great causes; InfraGard working as the Deputy Sector Chief for Colleges and Education, an online child protect program called Wired Safety and a Risk Manager for Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority.
Melissa believes that she has a duty to help inform and protect those around her, and aspires to one day work in the law enforcement sector, with a specialization in Cyber Crimes.

Wise Words:
3-D gives women the understanding and the skills that are needed to protect themselves and their loved ones. It only takes 1 3-D class to get hooked, and it is by far the best program to get hooked on! You will walk away with a feeling of confidence and a desire to come back and learn more. The techniques are simple and easy to recall under stress and an added bonus is that the class and class participants is FUN too!

Hope to see you in the next class - TCB
